J~for Jacuzzi

J is for Jacuzzi.....

My husband came home the other night with a offer from a friend at work. He had a Jacuzzi for sale. It was posted on craigslist but he wanted to let us know about his deal. Now I've always wanted one, but wasn't sure about how much space they take up. Well, needless to say, we now own that Jacuzzi. It is a fixer upper type thing, but it is in great machanical  shape. Don't laugh but here is the picture of it....(this is very embarassing!)LOL

It does look kinda bad right now. We do have all the sides of it, they just need to be put back on and probably stained or painted. Hmmm.....I can do that. It took six men to load it on a truck and be put in our backyard! The inside shell of the Jacuzzi is in perfect condition. We, also, need to get a space leveled with pavers or cement .Hopefully in the end it will look like this....

I picture many nights of enjoyment once it is all put together and set up. Wish us luck and I will be sure to post the end results when done! I am joining Jenny Matlock for her Alphabe~Thursday. You can find more letter "J"  particpants at her blog Jenny Matlock...off my tangent. If you have any advice or ideas on this, I would  appreciate that too! .....Michelle

I hope it's not the kind that sucks your bowels out... it's probably not.... well, make sure it has some sort of filter suction guard.

Hi Michelle. So good to see you on Alphabe-Thursday!

For some reason I was thinking it would look cool to put those raised metal sheets on the side...that look like corrugated or the ones that are pressed like ceiling tiles.

I guess it would depend on what style your house is.

You are going to make this really great, I just know it!

Thanks for making Alphabe-Thursday fun!

Happy J day!

A+

I always wanted a jacuzzi too. I had visions of one setting out on a private deck off the master bedroom. Oh well, I'd settle for a tub with jets now. Hope fixing it up goes well and it brings with it lots of relaxation and fun.

EEEK! It's a naked hot tub! Never have seen one before. Who woulda thought!

Don't have a lot of suggestions for your jacuzzi except make sure to keep the ph constant or you might break out in a rash like I did.

Hope you get the mountain scene to work just right for you too like in the first picture.

As long as you have the cover on your hot tub, the heat has no where to go and it maintains a nice warm, toasty temperature. The energy will not burn off from the hot tub... I like the sound and smell of a wood fire :D
